They just think they are just big guys that just take steroids and get big and pose naked it. Most people who do bodybuilder are people who had play basketball, baseball, football, and hockey. They could have done these sport but they chose not to. Itââ¬â¢s a bodybuilder right now name Trey Brewer that is 24 years old who play a fullback on his high school football team. In his time before bodybuilding, trey brewer ran a 4. 62 40 yard dash. Trey Brewer had done 46 consecutive reps of 185 lbs of bench press. He had also competed in power lifting where everyone is saying that is a sport and did competitions around the state. He broke the football record that in NFL no one ever did. Bodybuilder can do what a football player, hockey player, and basketball player can do. Bodybuilders are much better and conduction than a football player or any other sport player, but have there out competitively in their side and different. The competitiveness comes from the physique of the body, instead of performance though it looks as a bodybuilder. Bodybuilding is a sport because the competitiveness isnââ¬â¢t just how well they perform; it deals with the total of conditioning to get ready for a competition. Bodybuilder has to go through 24/7 of training and dieting all year long. They do not have any time to slack of doing this sport. When they are on stage, the bodybuilder is very dehydrating with 1% of water in their body, so that it can look very physique and can be very unhealthy. People who Other athletes can slack throughout the week and come in mentally prepared for a game day because they donââ¬â¢t have to worry about how they look regardless of how they body is looking but as long as they are in shape and good. They can go out and party and smoke and still go out for a game day here bodybuilder canââ¬â¢t do all that because of how they have to keep their physique of a body and do not anything where there body cannot handle while training for competition. In off season they can cheat and eat whatever they want to eat but still have to work out and still have to at least eat health to keep some muscle and physique on their body where they just all have to do is train. They can gain weight but not fat and enjoy their life and family as long they just donââ¬â¢t give up doing what they been training to do for the longest of period of time. Bodybuilding is not sports where you can do a competition and go out and eat whatever food that is around and not exercises. Bodybuilding has extreme amounts of weight training that can be very strict of dieting as well as other sacrifices. In competition, they drink less water within three day by cutting down there sodium and most bodybuilder get on this diet to be shredded of their physique body figure. Males are not the only one who just does bodybuilding. Females do the same training and diet process as the male does it and the difference that has in competing is, less posing on stage and that they have female body part. Where guys have male body part but they all are doing the same sport dieting and training. Bodybuilder normally donââ¬â¢t party unless they have a get together or friend or family parties they normally spend their time in the gym working out and training very to make sure they succeed of winner. They mostly have very little fun doing their free time. Bodybuilder diets are very strict for losing fat and gaining muscle. They have to eat about six to eight small meal. They can be defined as the pursuit for lean muscle mass. They have a saying where they use is call ââ¬Å"KISSâ⬠. It means keep is simple, smart of dieting. They have to eat 21/2 to 3 hours apart throughout the day. It will keep the metabolism going and let it provide for the muscles. It has to consist of protein, carbohydrates and some small amounts of good fats. Protein is an important key for bodybuilding and getting lean. They cannot fry any foods that are related to fatty food. The only time they can have carbohydrates, is like a potatoes, rice, yams, and most important is fruit. They how strict they have to deal with. A normal person should have about at least 8 hours of sleep. A bodybuilder has to get enough sleep to accomplish what they want. They have strict sleeping habits that they get about 16 hours of sleep but get up at four in the morning to start there day off. Most athletic just sleep whenever and go to practice or game day. Bodybuilder has to make sure they get plenty of rest to recovery and start fresh for a good day of exercise/working out. Bodybuilder has to get a day off so that their body is not over doing it and wonââ¬â¢t get any gain from it. Bodybuilding training is very strict where they work out 6 to 7 days of week. Doing bodybuilding and any other sport, they have to get in shape to look the best and to be the best. Bodybuilder lifts heavy weights to gain muscle and size. They have to get at least 45 minutes to hour in. Bodybuilder shouldnââ¬â¢t have to over work there body with the same workout every day. They should do one workout one body part like for example arms should be just for that day until next week and next day can be chest day. It can be a good gain of muscle mass. The workout can cause injuring. Training completed by overcoming the resistance of working is called resistance training. Bodybuilder is training of free weights or a weight stack on a machine that help them grow muscle. Bodybuilding is a performance for competition that appearance of extreme muscular athletes that workout in the gym. It can be not a safe sport but sometime can also be health for people. Bodybuilding is not all about just strength. Itââ¬â¢s about every since of individual muscle. Bodybuilding not about how much weight you can lift or how fast a person can go. If they are not in good shape for contest to get on stage, then they shouldnââ¬â¢t do bodybuilding. Bodybuilding is about who the best look and who have more muscle is shredded. People think that bodybuilding is all about how big you are. That not true, you can look small but build with small muscle with abs, biceps, and legs. That is why bodybuilder is judge of the physique of looking very good and better than the other person. There are females that do bodybuilding that most people think that they canââ¬â¢t do. There is femaleââ¬â¢s bodybuilder that looks better then a male bodybuilder that they work as hard as male that spend in the gym a short amount of time. It is hard for females to gain muscle than male because how the female body is build. It not really made for a bodybuilder body. They have to stay in the gym all day long 24/7 with dieting to get with a guy who has it easy. A guy can lose more fat then a female, of the reason that a guy bone is stronger than a female bone. Female can also do what a guy can do, that how this sport can go about. Everyone say that bodybuilding donââ¬â¢t have the same concept as for a team who is playing basketball and football. If you are doing competition and working hard to win something it is a sport. If hunting or fishing a sport, of course bodybuilding is a sport. Where the NBA and NFL have one thing that one person is going after on trophy and have competition to be the best at something, they call it a sport. Where bodybuilding have multiply competition and different kinds of trophy, they are doing competition to see who is the best shape and have the best physique body against someone else. Every sport has their own different kinds of competition, and donââ¬â¢t have to be known as all everywhere on TV. If you are challenging someone at something and want to win and train to work hard to be the best, of getting a trophy prize of being the best. It should be a sport and no one should not judge something if they donââ¬â¢t know the meaning of something. Bodybuilding can be a sport where a person can do something better than other person and if people like Trey Brewer, who ran a 4. 62 40 dash and bench over his own weight and do a lot of reps. It is a sport. People should look outside the box to see what a sport is. Bodybuilder train so hard and make some much sacrifices to be the best and win. They are on a strict diet and canââ¬â¢t have any cheap meals that allow them to be in the best shape of their life. Bodybuilding is a sport and everyone should know and get into the sport. It is making its way to the so it can be known just like the NBA and NFL.

Free Essays on Clinton Scandal
It is rare a person crosses the path of the White House without some emotion of envy or awe. This building epitomizes world leadership and unprecedented power. This renowned leadership may be the only association made by certain countries, while in the United States many see an other significance: Watergate, Whitewater, Kennedy's brutal and mysterious assassination, and today, Clinton's "zippergate" scandal. When the President of the United States takes oath, he gives up a part of his life. His private life becomes the public's life, and they feel the right to know what happens behind the Oval Office. Now the Presidency must battle against Newspaper journalists, radio personalities, televised news reports and now, even more menacing: the Internet. Presidents, who are constantly reminded of their power and prestigious rank, become exasperated because they cannot control the news media, even though they can to a large degree set the news agenda. Media has expanded in its presence, becoming widespread on the Internet, perhaps monopolizing the domain, by becoming more powerful and more used than written, televised or radio journalism. The Presidents' inability to control the press exposes their vulnerability and tends to question the actual power they can actually exert. All presidents, at some time or another, became frustrated at what they perceived as unfair treatment by the press, even while acknowledging its vital function in a free society, and many presidents have been a part of a scandal. The presidential scandal with Monica Lewinsky had swept the Nation overnight. It is obvious that this story has changed the face of journalism, has put online media on the map in a major way, and has made life more difficult for newspapers forever. First, let's take a look at how this story developed and how it acted on the Internet. Diddy - Dirty Money - Coming Home ft. Skylar Grey - Essay Example It tells the story of a person who has made many mistakes in life and has under gone various difficulties in life, and at the end of the day, he realizes that he needs a fresh star to hi life. The person is thus left with the choice of going back home to rebuild his life and start all over a new. The song captures this troubled past of the singer when she sings, ââ¬Å"Let the rain wash away all the pain of yesterday. I know my kingdom awaits and they have forgiven my mistakes.â⬠This clearly brings out the major theme of the song as forgiveness and the need to move on after under going a turbulent period in ones life. The song also talks about repentance and the need to forgive past mistakes. This is illustrated in the song where the singer asks his children to forgive him for not being there for them when they needed him most. He asks them to forgive him as he acknowledges that he was wrong. He blames this on his fame and fortunes that have led him to develop an alternative personality that is expected of him as a superstar, and this leads him to forget of his role as a father and husband. This is illustrated in the song when he raps, ââ¬Å"Its easy to be Puff, but its harder to be Sean. If the twins asked me why I did not marry their mom, how would I respond?â⬠he thus acknowledges that a new day begins by a new dawn, and that it was time he returned home to his loved ones to make up for the lost time and the mistakes that he may have made when he was away. The singer thus recognizes that a house is not a home, and he thus chooses to go back to his family to create a home. Air Pollution Cause and Effects Research Paper Example | Topics and Well Written Essays - 1000 words
Air Pollution Cause and Effects - Research Paper Example Itââ¬â¢s not healthy for those who are not sick or old too and the problem is not getting any better. Air pollution is also affecting the earthââ¬â¢s climate, causing it to warm. The consequences of this reality are far-reaching, cataclysmic and are happening now. Hundreds of coal-fired electric power plants and other smoke-stack industries along with hundreds of thousands of vehicles contribute to a significant public health problem by emitting the waste fumes produced by burning fossil fuels. Many studies have acknowledged that a wide array of undesirable health issues occur due to air pollution exposure including higher instances of respiratory illness, cardiovascular disease, heart attacks, atherosclerosis, emergency room trips and premature death. Exposure to the particulate matter found in air pollution has also been connected with low birth weights, birth defects and premature births. About 38 million kids are estimated to live in air polluted areas. Several types of ill nesses linked with air pollutants have risen dramatically the past 30 years. During that time, though the occurrences of death from childhood cancers have decreased considerably due to advances in medical science, the cancer incidence rates among children have gone up by a full third during that same period. ââ¬Å"It is well known that children and infants are uniquely at risk from air pollution both because of physiological susceptibility and greater relative exposure.â⬠(Gasping, 2011). For example, children breathe more air and inhale more pollution as a ratio of body weight as compared to adults. In addition, children play outside much more than adults. And, because their smaller bodies are still developing, kids are more vulnerable to the health problems caused by poisons in the air, principally cancers and reproductive issues which they and their children will suffer with later on in life. In addition, children have a longer life expectancy than their parents therefore h ave a better chance to develop illness from exposure to air pollutant toxins during their lifetime. (Gasping, 2011). Simply but factually stated, air pollution is causing the earthââ¬â¢s climate to change. Greenhouses gasses such as carbon dioxide, the most prevalent pollutant, are warming the earth. Basically, the greenhouse effect occurs by this method: When sunlight penetrates the atmosphere and strikes the surface of the earth not all solar energy from the sun is absorbed. Roughly a third of this energy it is bounced back into space. When living creatures exhale they emit carbon dioxide, it occurs naturally. The amount of naturally occurring carbon dioxide maintains a delicate balance with other forces of nature allowing one-third of energy to escape which has kept the earthââ¬â¢s climate fairly stable for thousands of years. Air pollution gases functions the same way as greenhouse glass, allowing sunlight to enter but retaining the solar heat. Tons of supplemental man-mad e gases being added to the atmosphere during the past century has produced a much thicker layer of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere than normal trapping more solar energy and allowing less to escape. ââ¬Å"In the past 150 years, such activities have pumped enough carbon dioxide into the atmosphere to raise its levels higher than they have been for hundreds of thousands of years.â⬠(ââ¬Å"Air pollution,â⬠1999). This preventable set of circumstances is making the earth warmer by the year. Lesser known but just

Clone Towns Essay Example for Free
Clone Towns Essay There are two main types of town in the UK, clone towns and home towns. A clone town is a global term for a town where the high street or other major shopping areas are significantly dominated by chain stores, while home towns consist of many local shops and businesses. We went on a trip to our local town Dorking, and conducted an investigation to see if it was a clone town or not Dorking is situated in Surrey, at the foot of the North Downs and next to Box Hill. We followed the Clone Town British Survey, created by the NEF to find out if it was a clone town. We walked up and down each side of the high street noting what type of shops there were, and whether they were multinational, national or local businesses. Using the NEF scoring method we then calculated its clone town score. 1. For each type of shop counted on your high street, give 5 points. 2. For each independently owned shop counted on your high street, give 50 points. 3. For each chain store counted on your high-street, give 5 points. 4. Add up the scores from steps 1ââ¬â3 and divide the total sum by the number of shops counted (i.e. 50). http://www.rgs.org If the score was below 25, it is a clone town, between 25-35 a border town, and above 35, a home town. When we tested Dorking, it received a score of 23.5 and just fitted in the clone town bracket. The NEF estimated that 41% of towns and 48% of London villages could be considered clone towns. The increase in clone towns can cause many negative effects. Instead of going back into the local economy, money goes to TNCââ¬â¢s which causes local businesses and jobs go into decline. Local shops are also more likely to use local suppliers for their produce instead of getting abroad.

Arthur Miller uses Alfieri for Dramatic Essay
In the second part of his speech, Alfieri brings about a notion of tragedy, ââ¬ËAnother lawyer, quite differently dressed, heard the same complaint and sat there as powerless as I, and watched it run its bloody course. ââ¬Ë This gives the audience a hint as to what is going to come ahead. The fact that Alfieri speaks in the third person indicates that the calamity has already happened and he was powerless to stop it. The idea of fate and destiny and destiny is also brought about. When Eddie, the protagonist of the play is introduced the scenario of a typical Greek tragedy is set up. Eddie is a good person but he has a flaw; his obsessive love for his niece, Catherine. If he is then put in an appropriate circumstance where his weakness is tested, he is likely to encounter tragic circumstances. The next time Alfieri addresses the audience the story has already been put into context. The audience are unaware of Eddieââ¬â¢s love for his niece and he could be easily mistaken as an over protective father. Eddie pays for her typing lessons and has ambitions for her to rise to a different class. ââ¬ËYou ainââ¬â¢t all the girls. ââ¬Ë He is proud of her looks, yet concerned she will attract the wrong sort of men. ââ¬ËThe heads are turning like windmills. ââ¬Ë In addition Eddie finds it difficult to admit that Catherine has become an independent woman. ââ¬ËI guess I just never figuredâ⬠¦ that you would grow up. ââ¬Ë This Alfieri soliloquy helps the plot to progress. Again he uses the past tense, reminding us that he is recalling something which has taken place. Eddie is described as good and hardworking man, the audience can therefore sympathise and even like him. However Eddie has a fate and destiny which he cannot control. Towards the end of this short appearance, Alfieri notifies us on the arrival of the cousins and the play again unfolds. Subsequently we meet Alfieri who again mentions Eddieââ¬â¢s destiny. ââ¬ËEddie Carbone had never expected to have a destiny. ââ¬Ë Yet again we are given the impression that Eddie is a good person and is someone you would expect to have a fairly normal life. ââ¬ËA man works, raises his family, goes bowling, eats, gets old, and then he dies. ââ¬Ë However we are reminded as Alfieri closes his speech that Eddie does have a flaw and as a result there will be devastating consequences. As a result of which, the audience are left in suspense and uncertainty as to what is to come ahead. ââ¬ËThere was a trouble that would not go away. ââ¬Ë His next appearance is one of the most important in the play. Alfieri begins by saying how he is acquainted with Eddie and his family, which helps to put his relationship with the husky, middle-aged longshoreman into context. He then reveals that Eddie came to visit him in the first instance. ââ¬ËI remember him now as he walked through my doorway ââ¬â his eyes were like tunnels. ââ¬Ë Which indicates that Eddie was out of control and looked fierce. Alternatively this could make the audience feel concerned towards his actions and what is to come next. It is the first time in the play that Alfieri transforms from being a narrator to actually a part of the action. As an actor taking part in the action, both his language and behaviour are more formal. In terms of language, Alfieri is more articulate and elevated; his sentences consist of professionalism and throughout this scene he is the voice of reason and sanity as opposed to the prejudiced and hurt Eddie. However Eddie is aggravated by Alfieriââ¬â¢s clear and focused attitude towards the law, as Eddie cannot differentiate between the law and the justice of the vendetta. ââ¬ËBut the law is very specificâ⬠¦ The law does not. ââ¬Ë
